Rainy Day - Cottage Cutz

Good Morning Scrapping Cottage Fans!

It is Pam creating with you today!  We have been having some gorgeous weather down south.  But believe it or not we are in need of some rain.  We have had some cloudy days but the rain continues to pass us by.  So that is my inspiration for my card today. In the Cottage Cutz store you will find a wonderful selection of Easter and Spring dies.  And as of right now these new dies are all 25% off!

Designer Steps:
1. Use an A2 white card stock base cut a piece of DP just slightly smaller then the card base. Cut a piece of black card stock 5 1/4 x 4 and a white piece of card stock 5 x 3 3/4

2.  On the piece of white card stock use Post It Notes to mask off a strip of white

3.  Use TH oxide ink to sponge over the white strip then splatter with water

4.  Remove the masks

5.  Cut out your pieces using Stitched Sun, Clouds & Umbrella.  I used gray for the clouds & raindrops, yellow for the sun, DP for the umbrella and black for the handle
6.  Assemble your die cut pieces I popped up one of the clouds
7. I also popped up the umbrella
8.  Add the raindrops and use Glossy Accents on them. Let dry and then glue to the black, DP and then finally to the card base

Teacup! - Pink and Main

Good Morning Pink and Main Friends!

It is a beautiful spring day here in South Carolina!  So before I go on my walk I thought I would make this card with soft spring colors.  I used a sketch from a challenge on Splitcoaststampers and also posted it there. I love these colors and patterns together.  It makes a perfect background for that sweet little bunny in the teacup!
Designer Steps:
  1. Use an A2 white card base cut a piece of pink checked DP  from the Spring Flings 6 x 6 Paper Pad  3 1/2 x 4 1/8 and glue to the top of the white card base.
  2. Cut a 2 x 4 1/8 piece of green dotted DP from the My Heart Paper Pad and glue to the bottom of the card
  3. Cut a triangle from the 6 x 6 Shades of Spring paper pad and glue to the right side of the card
  4. Using the Lacy Border dies cut out a white flower border 1/2 x 4 1/8 and glue between the pink checked paper and the green dotted paper
  5. Using the Pink and Main Scallop Circle dies cut out the circle and glue to the card as shown
  6. Stamp the bunny using the Perfect Blend stamp set and color with copics: W1, 2, 3 - RV13, 21, 23 - YG21, 23, 25
  7. Use the coordinating dies to cut out the bunny
  8. Stamp the sentiment using the Perfect Blend stamp set and layer onto green dotted paper
