Happy Days! - Scrapping Cottage

Good Morning Friends!

Today, I will be working with the new Build A Sign die!  It has so many options for making a cute retro looking sign.


Design Steps:

 1.  Using the Build a Sign die cut out the pieces of the signs in white card stock
 2.  Use your markers to color all of the pieces of the signs
3.  Using the Double Stitch Square die and cut out 2 in white cards stock. Assemble the signs on the 2 squares
4.  Use an A2 white card base and cut out a slightly smaller piece of yellow card stock and glue to the front of the card base.  Cut out a piece of DP slightly smaller then the yellow card stock and then glue it to the yellow card stock
5.  Glue the squares to the front of the card and add clear sequins.  Stamp the signs with Happy Days and your card is complete.

Sunshine! - Pink and Main

Good Morning Pink and Main Friends!

Today is a bitter sweet day for me!  It is my last post as a Pink and Main team designer.  I have been with Michelle and Pink and Main since February 2015.  I have loved working with her and my design team members.  The Pink and Main products are fabulous and always so adorable.  I will continue to follow my friends at Pink and Main and of course look forward to all of the new release products!


Design Steps:
  1. Use a black A2 card base and cut a piece of black card stock 4 x 5 1/4.  Glue the piece of black card stock to the front of the card base
  2. Cut a piece of white card stock 4 x 5 1/4 and ink the paper with TH Oxide inks. 
  3. Use the Sunny Cover die and cut out the sun and bottom panel
  4. Use the Sunshine Word die and cut out 2 sunshine words and glue together
  5. Glue the word sunshine to the bottom panel and stamp the You are My..... from the My Sunshine stamp set onto the top of the bottom panel as shown
  6. Glue all of the pieces to the black card front
  7. Add the Rainbow Glossy dots

Route 66 - Scrapping Cottage

Hello Cottage Cutz Fans!

Now onto the project for today!  I used some fun designer paper and our new Route 66 Road Sign die!
Designer Steps:
 1.  Cut all of the pieces out of white card stock using the Route 66 Road Sign die
 2.  Color the pieces using your markers
 3.  Cut a white Double Stitched Rectangle and pop the Route 66 sign on top of it.  Cut to 1/4 x 5 1/4 inch red strips
4. Use an A2 white card base cut a slightly smaller piece of red card stock and then a piece of DP 5 1/4 x 4.  Glue all of the piece to the front of the white card base

 5.  Add the red strips and the Route 66 panel

6.  Color the additional road signs with your markers. Stamp the arrow with Roadtrip

Pink Flowers - Dare 2B Artzy

Good Morning Dare 2B Artzy Friends!

Today, I am sharing one of my favorite stamps!  I love how this beautiful flower just fills the front of a card.

Design Steps:
  1. Use an A2 white card base add a slightly smaller piece of DP from the Artzy Doodle Collections.  Also use the polka dot strip from the bottom of the paper sheet
  2. Glue the strip and paper together add the ribbon and then glue to the front of the white card base
  3. Stamp the flower from the Bloom stamp set and color with copics: R01, 32, 43 - YG03, 17, 67 - G29 - C3
  4. Cut out the flower with an oval die cut and pop to the front of the card
  5. Stamp the sentiment onto the oval and color in with copics

Narwhals Everywhere!

Hello Pink and Main Family!

Oh my goodness this set is so adorable! I love all of these Narwhals! I decided I had to use all of them so I created a box card!

Designer steps:
  1. Use the Pink and Main Box Card die and cut out all of the pieces in white.  Assemble the box
  2. Use Sunset 6 x 6 paper pad and the Box die to make the side and bottom panels.  Glue the panels to the flaps and bottom of the box
  3. Cut the waves with the Wave Border dies.  Use 2 different colors of blues for the waves.  Attach the waves to the center mounts
  4. Stamp the sentiment and layer it onto blue card stock
  5. Stamp the Narwhals and color with copics: C0, 1, 2, 3 - BG11, 32, 34, 49 - V06, 9, 12
  6. Cut the Narwhals out with the coordinating dies and glue to the waves as shown
  7. Stamp the star fish using the Turtley Amazing stamp set.  Attach to box

Vintage Car - Scrapping Cottage

Good Morning Friends!

Today, I am using one of the new dies from the Just for Guys release.  I think these new dies are fantastic and so wonderfully detailed!

Design Steps:
1.  Cut Congratulations 3 times in black card stock then glue together
2.  Cut out the 3rd from the smallest Double Stitched Rectangle on tan card stock.  Cut out the Classic Car out of black card stock.  Pop the car to the tan rectangle
3.  Use an A2 tan card stock base, cut a slightly smaller piece of dark brown and run it through the embossing folder.  Cut out 2 pieces of DP one with stripes 2 1/2 x 4 and one with a newspaper 5 1/4 x 2 1/4.
3.  Glue the dark brown embossed card stock to the front of the base
4.  Add the newspaper DP to the top section of the card
5.  Glue the striped paper to the right side of the card add the car and the sentiment as shown
