Rejoicing in Christ

Good Morning Scrapping Cottage Friends!

Each of the design team is creating a card to share on Mondays.  So please be looking for this extra treat and inspiration.  Today, I chose to use the die called Manger Scene. It is so simple to make multiple Christmas cards fairly quickly and I just love how it turned out!

You can see below that there are very few pieces and just a little layering!  I got this card done super fast and I will probably make at least 15 more!

Hope you enjoy this extra inspiration card.  I loved making it!

Christmas Night

Hello Scrapping Cottage Friends!

I have another Christmas card today.  I am excited to get a head start on my cards this year.  And what a better way to do it then with this adorable new release.  The dies are just all so detailed and fantastic!  Today I am using the Santa Over Christmas Town die and I just love it!

Design Steps:

 1.  Cut all of the pieces using the Santa Over Christmas Town in white card stock
 2.  Line the back of the windows in a pale yellow card stock.  I just taped the piece behind the windows
 3.  Use a A2 white card base, cut a mint colored large rectangle frame using the Stitched Wide Rectangle Frame die, cut a piece of white for the snow 4 x 1 1/2 and a piece of DP with snowflakes
3 1/2 x 4 1/2
 4.  Attach the Snowflake DP to the center of the card base front and then add the frame using dimension tape
5.  Place the snow at the bottom of the frame and then arrange the trees and then the house.  Last place Santa and the snowflakes at the bottom of the frame

Happy Fall!

Good Morning Scrapping Cottage Friends!

It is Pam creating with you today!

Well my favorite season is almost here!!  I just love the crisp cool air and the wonderful fall colors!  So that is what my inspiration was for this card today!  Hope you enjoy it!

Designer Steps:

 1.  Using the Build A Grapevine Wreath cut out the pieces using white and brown card stock
 2.  Use TH inks to shade the wreath and leaves
 3.  Use the Double Stitched Square die second from the largest and cut out a cream colored square.  Assemble the wreath and glue it to the square
4.  Cut a square of yellow card stock slightly larger then the cream colored square and layer it onto the yellow.  Stamp the words happy fall inside of the wreath

 5.  For the base card use an A2 cream colored card add a slightly smaller piece of yellow and then a slightly smaller piece of DP.  Also cut 2 pieces of burlap ribbon to wrap around the front DP
6.  Glue the DP to the yellow layer and then wrap around your burlap ribbon and tape to the back before you glue to the card front.  Use dimension tape to mount the wreath then add a few gold pearls for some sparkle

Thanks so much for stopping by.  And as always take some time to be creative!!

Pumpkin Latte!

Hello Scrapping Cottage Friends!

It is time for all of our very favorite flavors and spices!  I don't know about you but I love the pumpkin scones at Star Bucks.  And of course if they don't have the scones I settle for a delicious cup of pumpkin latte!  Oh I love fall!!!

With all of the wonderful colors, smells and crisp air who can resist autumn.  This fabulous season is my inspiration today.

Designer Steps:

 1.  Using the Mr. Snuggles die and the Pumpkin Pie & Latte die cut out all of the pieces using white, cream and brown card stock
 2.  Shade the bear piece with TH Vintage ink and color the cup using your favorite markers.  I used my Copics
3.  Assemble the bear and cup set aside
 4.  Use a white A2 card base, cut a piece of brown card stock just slightly smaller then the base front, Cut a piece of checked DP 4 x 5 1/4 and a piece of leaf DP 5 1/4 x 2.  Make a brown bottom layer slightly bigger for the 5 1/4 x 2 inch piece of leaf DP.  Use the 4th from the largest Pierced Rectangle and cut it on white card stock
 5.  Layer the Leaf DP on top of the brown and add the raffia ribbon and bow
 6.  Stamp the upper right hand corner of the white Pierced Rectangle with Happy Fall and then pop the bear onto the rectangle
7.  Glue the brown and checked paper to the white card front and add the strip of leaf DP.  Next just pop up your little bear panel and your card is complete

Flip and Fold Birthday Card!

Good Morning All!

I was watching a YouTube video on fancy fold cards and came across this cute Flip and Fold card by Janie.  This is the link for that video if you would like to watch it.  I thought it was such an adorable card and it would give me a chance to use the Birthday Cake with Pedestal die and a bunch of bright and happy designer paper.

Designer Steps:

 1.  Cut a piece of yellow card stock 4 1/4 x 11.  Score at 2 3/4 and 5 1/2
 2.  Cut a piece of green card stock 3 1/2 x 10. Score at 5
 3.  Cut 4 pieces of DP 2 1/2 x 4 1/8.  I did 2 flower pieces and 2 pink polka pieces.  Also cut 2 more pieces of DP a flower one 5 1/4 x 4 1/8 and a pink polka dot piece 3 1/4 x 4 3/4
 4.  Open the yellow card and glue the large piece of flowered DP to the inside
 5.  Fold the front flap in half and then close the card glue one of the smaller pieces of flower DP to the front flap
 6.  And glue the other piece of flowered DP to the back of that fold
 7.  Completely open the card and glue the 2 strips of pink polka dot paper to the inside of the folds
 8.  Glue the green card to the inside of the open yellow card as shown noticing how it opens the opposite directions
 9.  Close the green card and attach the larger piece of pink polka dot paper as shown
10.  Open the green card and tuck the folds from the front flap under the green card
 11.  Cut out all the pieces in white card stock using the Birthday Cake w/ Pedestal die
 12.  Use your favorite makers to color all of the pieces
13.  Assemble the pieces.  I cut a few more flowers and one more cupcake to decorate the inside of the card
14.  Using the Expressions Happy Birthday cut out 2 sets and glue them together
15.  Pop dot the cupcake to the front of the card and add the sentiment and additional flower in the corner
16.  Open the card and add the sentiments and addition flower and cupcake.  Your card is complete and is ready to send to someone special!
