Design Steps:
 1.  Cut out the pieces using the Potted Plant die.  I used a variety of colored card stock: rust, yellow, light green, dark green, brown, blue and white
 2.  Shade the pieces with a number of different colored inks and then assemble with a fine tip glue
 3.  Use an A2 white card base, a piece of yellow check DP (4 x 5 1/4) that I cut with the Double Stitched Square (third from the smallest).  Cut a piece of rust card stock (4 x 3 1/2) which I lined up with the yellow check DP and cut with a slightly smaller square.  I used the Wacky Stitched Square (second from the smallest)
 4.  Glue the rust windows directly behind the yellow checked DP windows and then glue it to a white piece of card stock  4 x 5 1/4
 5.  Next cut out a piece of white card stock using the Double Stitched Rectangle die and stamp it with your sentiment.  Layer your sentiment onto a piece of rust card stock
6.  Pop up your plants and sentiment onto the DP panel (as shown) and then attach it to the white card base.  Add your rhinestones and your card is complete

Design Steps:
 1.  Cut out all of the pieces using the Gardening Mouse die.  The colors of card stock I used where gray, brown, pink, green and metallic silver
 2.  Shade the pieces with a variety of inks and then assemble using a fine tip glue
 3.  Use a white A2 card base, cut a piece of light orange slightly smaller then the card base, and a piece of DP 4 x 5 1/4.  Using the Victorian Fence die cut out a white fence.  Using the second from the largest Pierced Rectangle die cut out a red rectangle and then layer it onto light orange card stock

4.  Glue the orange to the card base and then glue down the DP

 4.  Glue the garden base to the bottom of the red rectangle leaving the top of the garden base unglued so you can then slip the white fence behind it

Miss Ewe

Hello Scrapping Cottage Friends!

I don't know about you but I am really ready to see some of my friends and family.  Since I can't physically see them I am making a batch of cards to send out.  This little lamb was the perfect card for my sweet sisters!
Design Steps:

 1.  Cut out the lamb using the Spring Lamb & Chick die.  I cut them out in grey and white card stock

 2.  Using different colors of inks shade and color the pieces of the lamb before assembly.  I used a fine tip glue to attach all of the pieces

 3.  Use a white A2 card base, 4 x 5 1/4 piece of green DP, 3 3/4 x 5 piece of flowered DP, 1/2 x 3 3/4 piece of green DP and a 2 x 3 3/4 piece of green DP.  I also cut a pink checked DP square using the second from the largest Nested Stitched Scalloped Square die

4.  Glue the large green piece to the card base then add the flower DP and finally add the strips of green as shown

 5.  Next glue flat the pink checked square

6.  Finally add the lamb using pop dots add the sentiments.  I thought the sentiment needed some flowers around it so a cut out a few and added them around the sentiment

Easter Egg Hunt

Dear Scrapping Cottage Friends,

It is just a few days before Easter and I just wanted to wish all of you a very blessed day on this special holiday.  I made this last Easter card to celebrate!  I combined 3 of the Spring Release dies and I just love how it turned out.
Design Steps:
 1.  I decide to use a fun card design for these dies.  I used an A2 white card base and then I cut the front fold in half.  I cut a piece of checked green DP just slightly smaller then the half front fold.  Then cut a piece of pink DP slightly smaller then the green DP.
2.  Glue the front flap pieces to the white card base.  Then on the inside cut a piece of pink DP slightly smaller then the inside white card base and then a piece of green DP slightly smaller then the pink DP.  Then glue to the inside of the card
 3.  Using the Easter Egg Hunt die cut out all of the pieces in a variety of colors
4.  Using a variety of ink colors shade the pieces and then assemble with a fine tip glue.  I used tiny black rhinestones for the eyes

 5.  Cut dark green card stock using the Spring Grass die.  Glue the grass to the bottom of the front flap and the bottom of the inside.  Next glue the sign to the front and the bunnies to the inside as shown

6.  I decided to add some clouds and sun to the card so I cut the pieces out using the Spring Frogs die.    I also thought it would be fun to add some Easter Eggs so I cut out a variety of colored eggs using the Basket of Eggs die.  Glue the pieces as shown and your card is complete

My favorite Easter memory is when my mom dressed us up in our fluffy Easter Dresses and off we went to celebrate the Resurrection of our Lord in church.  I hope you are making special memories too!!  HAPPY EASTER!!
