O Come Let Us Adore Him

Hello Scrapping Cottage Friends

Our Part 2 of the the Christmas release has 34 new designs everything from Moose to Mangers!  So please take a moment and check out the collections.  I am using the manger scene for today's card.  The name of the die is Nativity w/Donkey.

Design Steps:

 1.  Start by using the Nativity w/Donkey die and cut out the pieces using light yellow, tan, brown, flesh, and grey card stock
 2.  Shade the pieces with your favorite markers.  I used Copics
 3. Using the largest of the Stitched Wide Rectangle Frame set cut out a frame from tan card stock. Set aside and next cut out a piece of white card stock that will tuck just behind the frame.  Using your Distress inks sponge the bottom of the white card stock with yellow and the top with a navy blue
 4.  Use an A2 tan card base and take a distress edging tool to rough up the sides and bottom.  Next use a brown distress ink to ink all the edges of the card.  Also use the brown distress ink to ink the sides of the frame
5.  Glue the yellow and blue white piece to the center of the tan card base.  Then use dimension tape to attach the frame.  Add the nativity scene, your sentiment and star button to the card and it is finished

Holiday Pup!

Hello Scrapping Cottage Friends,

I hope you are all doing well.  I am continuing to make Christmas cards using our new release dies.  The card today is using the Holiday Pup.  I just love dogs so this die is right up my alley!!
Design Steps:
 1.   Using the Holiday Pup die cut out the pieces using red, green, white, yellow, black and brown card stock
 2.  Shade the pup pieces using ink and then assemble
 3.   Shade the gift pieces using ink and then assemble
 4.  I like to lay out the pieces to see how I will arrange them on my card
5.  Use and A2 white card base, a piece of red card stock slightly smaller then the white card front, a piece of green DP 4 x 5 1/4, 2 strips of red DP 1/2 x 5 1/4 and cut a white rectangle frame using the Stitched Wide Rectangle dies second to the largest.  Glue the red card stock to the card front add the green DP along with the red DP strips.  Next pop of the frame with dimensionals.  Place in the pup and gift.  Add the sentiments and snowflakes (I cut the snowflakes out with the Santa Over Christmas Town die)

Sleeping Mouse

Good Morning

This card is for the HouseMouse Challenge!  The challenge is Outdoor Fun or Anything Goes.  I decided to make a baby card with the little mouse sleeping outdoors on a pussy willow branch.
I just love this stamp.  It is just so darn cute and perfect for a baby card.  I colored with copic markers and did the sky with a stencil and TH ink.

Blessings
