Hedgehog Fun - Pink and Main

Hi Pink and Main Friends!

I want to wish you all a very happy and blessed 2018!!!  I can't believe how fast 2017 went!

I am making a ton of Valentine's Day cards and I just am in love with the Hedgehug set, Polka Heart background stamp and Double Stitched Heart Dies!

Design steps:

  1. Use an A2 vanilla card base.  Cut a slightly smaller piece of kraft card stock and stamp it with the Polka Hearts background stamp in Versa Mark.  Use clear embossing powder and heat set
  2. Add the ribbon around the kraft card stock and glue to the front of the vanilla card base
  3. Select 4 different colors of card stock for your large heart.  Cut the second from the largest heart from the Double Stitched Heart Die set. Then layer the next size heart in the center and cut it out. Set it aside then change colors and repeat the steps going down in the size of the heart dies
  4. After you complete cutting out the hearts layer it back together and pop up to the card front
  5. Stamp the Hedgehog and arrows using the Hedgehugs stamp set and color with copic markers.  Use the coordinating dies to cut out
  6. Pop up the Hedgehog and arrows to the card front as show. Stamp and layer the sentiment and add it to the card front

Valentine's Day is on It's Way! Scrapping Cottage

Hello Everyone!

I hope you had a wonderful Christmas celebration!  I can't believe I am saying this but I am starting on my Valentine's!!! The little bear I am using is actually from our Get Well release.  But she is very versatile and so is the sentiment perfect for Valentines too!

Design Steps:

 1.  Cut an A2 white card base then on the front flap cut off a 2 inch strip.  Cover the inside first with a red piece of card stock then a piece of DP.  Next on the left side of the inside cut a 2 x 5 1/8 piece of white card stock and glue inside to the left
 2.  Next cut a piece of red card stock for the flap at 2 1/8 x 5 3/8 then layer on a piece of DP at 2 x 5 1/8
3.  Using the Stitched Cupcake die set cut out 4 stitched red hearts and glue 3 of them next to the white panel on the inside of the card.  Then glue the remaining heart to the white panel as shown below
4.  Use the Sweetheart Doilies die and cut out the largest circle in white and then the next largest in red glue together
 5.  Cut the sentiment Sending Hugs in red using the Sending Hugs Bear die
5.  Glue the sentiment to the front flap of the card and also attach the heart doily

6.  Using the Sending Hugs Bear die cut out the bear in brown, the flower and bow in red, the stem in green and the tummy in tan.  Shade all the pieces and assemble them add black rhinestones for the eyes

 7. Place pop dots on the back of the bear and place the bear onto the heart doily

  2. Next Glut a piece of wood grain designer paper to a piece of foam.  Use a rectangle die to cut through the two pieces to make your frame
  3. Behind the frame position the DP sky and the snow banks then glue the frame on top
  4. Using the Nice List stamp and color the reindeer and sleigh with copic markers.  Use coordinating dies to cut it out then pop it to the card as shown

Snowman Fun! - Scrapping Cottage

Hello Scrapping Cottage Fans!

It is Pam sharing with you today!  This is my last post before Christmas so I wanted to wish you all a very blessed Christmas and a Happy New Year! Let's hope 2018 will bring good health and happiness to all!

I can't get enough of this adorable Sweet Snowman die so I made this last Christmas card into a fun shaker card!

Designer Steps:

 1.  Use an A2 white card base and cut a slightly smaller piece of purple paper set aside.
Next cut a piece of fun foam and designer snowflake paper 4 x 5 1/4.  Run both the foam and DP through the die cutting machine with the 3rd to the largest Cross Stitched Circle dies in the upper center of the card.  This will create the opening for the shaker card
2.  In between the foam and the DP sandwich a piece of acetate
3.  Next cut out a Stitched Scallop Circle 3rd from the largest in white.  Then lay the same Crossed Stitched Circle die you used to cut the opening onto the scalloped circle and cut.  This will make a nice frame for the opening

4.  Place a small pile of turquoise sequins and snowflake sequins onto the purple paper directly under the acetate opening
5.  Place glue on the back of the foam all around the opening and the entire back then lay it centered over the opening on the purple card stock.  Attach the white scalloped from to the front
6.  Using the Sweet Snowman die cut out all of the pieces using, purple, turquoise and white card stock
 7.  Assemble the snowman I colored the branch arms and carrot nose with copic markers
 8.  Pop dot the snowman to the front of the card, add the ribbon, cotton ball on the hat and sentiment
9.  And finally attach the purple card stock to the white card base and your card is complete
