Smile! - Pink and Main

Good Morning Pink and Main Fans!

I am using the new stamp called Candid Moments! It is a fantastic set filled with fun little cameras and adorable sentiments!
I decide to showcase these darling little cameras by doing a fancy fold easel card. But really there is nothing difficult with this fold!

Design Steps:
Use an A2 black card base and fold it in half.  Then take the front flap and fold it in half as shown. This fold will create the easel stand up

On the back of the base of the easel 2 3/4 down from the center fold make a small half moon cut with an exacto knife.  This will hold up the folded easel front (see completed card at the top)

Cut out your designer paper, the red base is 5 1/4 x 4. Then cut 2 pieces of the camera print
2 1/2 x 5 1/4.  Also cut 3 of the bead border in black.  Attach the red paper to the base of the easel and the 2 camera paper panels to the top of the easel as shown.  Add the bead border to the red base and the folded flap as shown.

Stamp and color the images using copic makers then cut out with the matching dies

Carefully flip the card over and again with the exacto knife go over the half moon cut so that you can cut through the designer paper.

Add the images to the card as show then stamp and layer the sentiments on black

Thanks for stopping bye and I hope you will give this simple easel card a try!

Blessings!

Coffee Gift Card - Dare 2B Artzy

Hi Dare 2B Artzy Fans

This is my last post as a guest and I have really enjoyed creating for you! I want to thank the wonderful Dare 2B Artzy Team for giving me the opportunity to share with you!

I decided to use the adorable coffee stamp set called Perk Up to make a gift card.  I am going to put it in the mailbox for our awesome postwoman!!!

Designer steps:

Use a light brown card stock base 4 1/4 x 11 and score at 4 1/2, 5 1/2 and 6 1/2.  Use your bone folder and crease the card as shown.

Flip the card over and put a strip of strong tape as shown then press together.  This will form the card holder.

Use a die cut that is the same wideth as a gift card and make the cut through the mountain fold.

Now you are ready to decorate!  Cut 3 pieces of dark brown card stock 4 1/4 x 4 and glue one to the front of the card and 2 to the insides.

Cut 3 pieces of cream card stock 4 x 3 3/4 and stamp before you attach to the card. I used the little coffee beans and one of the great sentimens. The ink used is Memento Rich Cocoa.  Attach the two pieces inside the card then for the front run it through an embossing folder by Tim Holtz then glue to the front of the card

Cut a strip of light brown card stock 11 x 1 inches this will make a band around your gift card to keep it good and safe.   Just take your band and fit it around your card and make a tiny pencil mark as to where you will place the tape

Take a piece of cream card stock and stamp the polka dot coffee cup in black and color with copics: E23, 25, 27 - Y15, 17 - YR16, 68 - R46, 59.  Fussy cut out the cup and using a stitch die cut make a  small square.  Stamped the steam on the square and pop up the coffee cup under the steam.  Stamp the sentiment in black and glue next to the cup as shown below

I hope you enjoyed this little project!  And please make sure to stop by my blog and say hi!!

Blessings
Pam

Guest for Dare 2B Artzy Project 2!

Good Morning Dare 2B Artzy Fans!

Pam here back for another guest spot! And I am totally loving this next awesome set of stamps called Perk Up!  There are so many wonderful sentiments included with this set. I think you are going to love it!  I decided to make a small little gift for a friend who wasn't feeling well.  I hope you try this fun project!

Here are the designer steps:

Start with an 8 1/2 x 11 inch piece of white card stock. Start with the 8 1/2 side up on your scoreboard and score at 2 and 6 1/2.  Turn so the 11 inch side is up on your scoreboard and score at 4, 6 1/4, 8 1/4 and 10 1/2.  Cut away all four corners as shown.

Using a 1 3/4 inch punch, punch out two circles and place them on the small 1/2 flap side.  These will serve as place holders for your K cups so that you can center them correctly.  After you have them where you want them go ahead and punch the holes over top of the place holders.
After you punched your holes make your cuts or slits for the side flaps as shown.

Cut two pieces of bright pink card stock one at 4 1/4 x 2 and the other at 4 1/4 x 1 3/4 and run them through the embossing machine. Glue the smaller piece just next to the cut holes as shown.
Flip the project over and adhere the other piece to the top.  I rounded the corners just for a more finished look.  Using the fold guidelines begin to form your box. Tape the flaps and make sure your pink card stock is showing both at the bottom and top of the coffee holder.

Stamp two heart cups and color with copics and cut out.  Then stamp the checked frame with the Hope you Perk Up soon sentiment inside the frame and cut out.  Plus punch 3 small hearts and attach to project as shown add the bow and you have a finished gift!

I hope you give this project a try it is a sweet little gift!

Take Care and Blessings
