Birthday Cupcake! - Scrapping Cottage

Good Morning Scrapping Cottage Friends!

We have a  Mother's Day Release available in the online store now.  There are 22 fantastic dies!  These dies are so adorable and can be used for other occasions so don't miss out!  Today, I am using the cupcake for a birthday card!

Design Steps:

 1. Using the Mother's Day Cupcake die cut all of the pieces of the cupcake out using pink, green, white and yellow card stock

 2.  Assemble the cupcake as shown above, I colored the heart and small flowers with my markers

 3.  Use an A2 card base, cut a 4 1/8 x 5 1/4 piece of white card stock and run it through the swiss dot embossing folder, cut a piece of striped DP 3 x 5, cut a strip of pink card stock 1/8 x 5 and a piece of dotted DP 1/4 x 5

 4.  Using the Scalloped 2 1/2 inch circle die cut a circle on the striped DP 1 inch from the top.  Glue the 2 strips to the embossed white card stock as shown

 5.  Glue the DP with the scalloped circle cut out to the embossed card stock as shown

 6.  Using foam tape pop the cupcake to the center of the circle

7.  Using white foam sheets that have adhesive on the back run it through the machine using the Expressions Happy Birthday die.  Adhere the Happy Birthday to the front panel just below the cupcake.  Then glue the embossed panel to the card front

Love is Honey - Dare 2B Artzy

Good Morning Dare 2B Artzy Friends!

I hope all of you moms had a great Mother's Day!

It is right in the middle of spring and all of the flowers are in full bloom here in South Carolina!  In fact the weather is starting to get really hot!  A least the humidity hasn't hit yet!  So I am using one of the floral sets called BEEutiful!

Designer Steps:

1. Use an A2 white card base cut a slightly smaller piece of light yellow card stock and then a piece of DP from the Honey Bloomz Collection cut slightly smaller then the yellow card stock
2. Use 2 different sizes of scalloped retangles and cut the smaller one in white and the larger in the yellow
3. Stamp the images and sentiment using the BEEutiful stamp set onto the white rectangle and color it with copics: Y32, BG11, 18, 72, 78 - C4
4. Glue the DP to the yellow card stock and added the 1/2 strip to the bottom of the card from the Honey Bloomz Collection,  plus the ribbon.  Then glue to the white card base
5. Glue the white scalloped retangle to the larger yellow scalloped rectangle.  Then add dimensional tape to the back and pop to the card front as shown
6. Add the clear sequins and your card is complete

Kindness Matters! - Pink and Main

Good Morning Pink and Main Friends

Happy Mother's Day to all of you!  I hope you have a very special and blessed day!

Now onto today's project! I love this new release from Pink and Main!  It is perfect for spring and all the special occasion that come during the season such as Mother's Day, birthdays, and anniversaries.  The set I used comes with a large sentiment which is very trendy right now.

Design Steps:

1. Use an A2 white card base then cut a slightly smaller piece of DP from the Pink and Main Shades of Spring paper pad.  Round the corners of the DP and the card
2. Use the largest Pink and Main Scallop Rectangle die and cut out a piece of white card stock
3. Use the stamp set Kindness Floral and stamp the flower and sentiment onto the scalloped rectangle
4. Color the flowers using copics: Y15, 19, 38 - E99 - V12, 15, 17 - YG3, 63, 67
5. Attach the yellow ribbon and then glue the scalloped rectangle to the card
6. Add the Pink and Main Glossy Dots to the front and your card is complete

Just for You - Scrapping Cottage

Good Morning Scrapping Cottage Friends!

I am using one of our new release dies from the Mother's Day collection.  I hope you take the opportunity to stop by our store.  The new dies can be used for all kinds of occasions!

Design Steps:

1.  Use an A2 white card base.  Cut a piece of white card stock just slightly smaller then the base and run it through a dotted embossing folder.  Glue to the front of the card

2.  Cut a piece of yellow card stock 3 3/4 x 5 and glue to the front of the card.  Cut a 3 1/2 x 4 3/4 piece of chevron DP and glue to the yellow card stock

3.  Use the Oval Doily Frame die and cut out a white oval and a cloud DP oval.  Use the inside of the cloud piece to place inside of the white oval border

3.  Use the Stitched Birdhouse dies and cut all the pieces of the die in white.  Also use the Spring Meadow die and cut out the grass in white.  Use your markers and color all of the pieces.

4.  Assemble the birdhouse on the oval cloud paper and then glue to the front of the card inside of the white oval frame.  Add your sentiment and your card is complete

Sneak Peek!!!

Hello Pink and Main Family!!

We have a sneak peek for you!!  And the word is flowers!!!  Such a sweet and lovely release plus there are some new dies that are a must have!!

Design Steps:

1. Use an A2 white card base cut a slightly smaller piece of green dotted DP.  Glue the green DP to the white card base
2. Using the largest Rounded Stitched Rectangle die from Pink and Main cut out a piece of DP from the Shades of Spring Paper Pad.
3. Next using a white piece of card stock and the next size Rounded Stitched Rectangle die from Pink and Main cut out the rectangle.
4. Stamp the image and color with copic markers: YG03, 17, 25 - Y32, 26 - V000, 01, 04 - R81, 83, 85
5. Use foam tape to pop to the card and then add the Glossy Dots

Miss You - Scrapping Cottage

Good Morning Scrapping Cottage Friends!

We have a NEW Mother's Day Release available in the online store.  And the dies are currently on sale for a limited time at 25% off the retail price.  There are 22 fantastic dies!  These dies are so adorable don't miss out on this sale price!!

Now onto today's project!  I had my brother, his wife, daughter, her husband and baby visiting last week!  And I am finding the house is very quite now that they are headed home.  So that was my inspiration for this miss you card using our new release dies!

Designer Steps:

1.  Use an A2 light green card base, cut 2 side panels using DP at 2 x 4 and layer them onto a darker green card stock.  Glue them to the front of the card as shown.  Then cut a square using DP at 2 3/4 x 2 3/4 then layer the square onto the dark green card stock. Glue to the front of the card as shown

2.  On white card stock cut out the pieces of the flower using the new Orchid die

3.  Color the pieces of the Orchid with Copic markers or any markers you may have

 4.  On white card stock cut out the oval using the Pierced Oval Set 4th from the largest.  Glue the orchid to the oval

5.  Use foam tape to mount the oval to the card as shown and add your sentiment
