I am making a few Mother's Day cards for our church's annual boutique sale. I decided to go with a slimline design to best display all of the fun dies I used. The dies for this card are Pumps Mini, Elegant Hat Box and Love You Mom Phrase.
Design Steps:
1. Using the following dies
Pumps Mini,
Love You Mom Phrase and
Elegant Hat Box cut out the following colors of card stock: Pink, black, white, green and silver. Assemble with a fine time glue. I cut out 5 additional large pink flowers, 2 additional small flowers and one additional white flower for decoration
2. The card base is white 8 1/2 x 3 1/2 folded, use the
Scalloped Stitched Rectangle Slimline die and cut out the black layer glue to the card base. Use the
Windows Slimline die and cut out a piece of white card stock. Cut out a piece of polka dot pink DP 2 7/8 x 7 7/8 and glue it to the back of the windows slimline . Then glue to the black scallop rectangle as shown above
3. Glue down the hat stand and then glue on the hat to the top window
4. Glue the sentiment plus a flower to the center window as shown above
5. Glue the shoes to the top of the hat box as shown above
6. Add some additional flowers and rhinestones and your card is complete
