St. Partick's Day Pup

 Hello Friends

I really can't believe how time flies!! I am starting my St. Patrick's Day cards.  The one I am sharing today has a cute design that allows for a unique display.  I got this cute design from my friend Stacey.  I am featuring the Shamrock and Valentine Scottie die.

Design Step:

1.  Start with an 11 x 4 1/4 piece of white card stock. Score at 1/2 flip the card stock and score at 1/2 on the other end continue scoring 1 1/2, 3, 4, 5 1/2, 7, 8, 9 1/2

2.  Fold all score lines going the same direction

3.  Put glue one the 1/2 fold on both ends and fold in to create two equal rectangles as shown above.  Do not glue the rectangles together

4.  Using the Shamrock and Valentine Scottie die cut out the following colors of card stock: green, light green, yellow grey, dark gray, black and brown

5.  Assemble the Scottie and I used little rhinestones for the eyes

6.  To assemble the card cut 2 strips of green 4 1/8 x 7/8, 2 strips of DP 4 1/8 x 1 1/4, cut a scallop circle in  green(cut in half), cut a piece of green 5 x 3 1/2 (round the top corners) cut a piece of DP 4 3/4 x 3 (round the top corners)

7.  Glue the DP green to the top and the plain green to the front and back.  Add the circle halves to the top

8.   Glue the DP to the green as shown above and add your sentiment

9.  Slide the St. Patrick's Day panel in between the two rectangles and glue in place. Add the Scottie and I also decided to add a little white fence on the front and back as shown.  Your card is complete

Guys Birthday

 Hello Friends 

I have a number of guy's birthdays coming up the first part of March.  So I am getting a little ahead of the game and making some more masculine cards.  I am featuring 2 of our golf dies Golf Ball and Tee plus Golfer Silhouette.  

Design Steps:

1.  Use the following dies and card stock: Golfer Silhouette (black card stock) Golf Ball & Tee (white and yellow) Spring grass cut 2 pieces (green) Stitched Alphabet (white and I ran it through an dotted embossing folder)

2.  For the base use an A2 white card, piece of yellow 4 1/8 x 5 3/8, plaid DP 4 x 5 1/4.  Use the Stitched Rounded Corner Rectangle second from the largest and cut out blue DP, and last cut out a slightly larger piece of green to layer the blue onto and round the corners

3.  Glue the the blue rectangle to the green and then add the grass at the bottom of the blue.  Place the tee behind the grass then add the ball and the lettering

4.  For the card base glue the yellow to the white card.  Then glue the plaid to the yellow.  Add the golf panel to the upper right of the card as shown.  Place the second piece of grass at the bottom of the card base and then add the golfer

5.  Add the sentiment which I embossed in white and layered onto yellow.  Then add the sequin to finish
