Hi Pink and Main Friends

Are you on the Naughty or Nice List?  This card will let you know which list you are on! Hee Hee!  I am continuing to make my Christmas cards.  I am almost done only a few more to go.  I like to get my cards addressed over the Thanksgiving holiday.  I think I will make my goal!

Design Steps:

1. Use an A2 red card base then cut a slightly smaller piece of green and then a smaller piece of white.  Glue all of the pieces to the card base.
2. Cut a piece of designer paper from the Pink and Main Jolly 6 x 6 paper pad. Glue to the front of the card
3. Use the Pink and Main Rounded Stitched Rectangle die and cut a piece of paper from the Jolly paper pad. Glue to the center of the card
4. Using the Pink and Main Merry Christmas die cut it out of sparkle paper
5. Glue the Merry Christmas to the top of the green designer paper
6. Stamp the Santa from the Nice List stamp set and color with copics: R20, 27, 29, 59 - E00, 21 - C0, 1, 6, 8 - Y28, 32
7. Cut out Santa using the coordinating dies and pop him to the card as shown
8. Add snowflakes

Snowy Night - Scrapping Cottage

Hello Scrapping Cottage Fans!

Making Christmas cards is a fun way to show your family and friend your crafty side!  It is also a way to make cards that specifically fit someone's personality.  The card I am sharing today is going to a friend who lives in California.  She doesn't get any snow for Christmas so I thought I would send her some on my card!

 Design Steps:
1.  Using the Christmas Town and Season's Greeting w/Banner die cut out both of them in white.  On the Season's Greeting die cut off the deer and glue down the Season's Greetings

 2.  Use an A2 white base and cut out a piece of silver 4 x 5 1/4, a piece of white embossed with dots 3 3/4 x 5.  Then use the Double Stitched Rectangle die and cut out a piece of navy DP

 3.  Glue the silver and embossed paper to the card front

 4.  Glue the Season's Greetings to the banner and the Christmas Town to the navy DP

 5.  Place dimensional tape to the back of the navy DP and attach to the center of the card front

 6.  Add the sentiment banner as shown

 7.  Using the Snowflake Set cut out silver snowflakes

8.  Attach the snowflakes as shown below.  I glued the larger snowflake to the inside of my card

Penguin Fun! - Dare 2B Artzy

Hello Dare 2B Artzy Friends

I hope you have started your Christmas cards!  I have and it just seems that my list just keeps getting longer.  I love making my cards but I am very picky about who gets them!  Here is my most recent creation and it is going to my little nephew!

Design Steps:

1. Start with an A2 card base then cut a piece of Dare 2B Artzy designer paper and craft foam 4 x 5 1/4.  Next cut the 2 pieces with a circle die positioned as shown
2. Tape a piece of acetate behind the DP and then glue the foam to the DP
3. Fill the well made with the foam on the back of the DP with sequins
4. Cut a piece of white card stock 4 x 5 1/4 and sponge it with purple and blue ink to create the background for the opening
5. Glue the sponged background to the craft foam
6. Add the ribbon then glue to the card base
7. Stamp the penguin using the Dare 2B Artzy Penguin Fun. Color with Copic markers: Y35, 38 - YR04, V01, 04, 06 - C0.  Stamp the ice pad and sentiment
8. Use the coordinating dies to cut out the penguin and ice pad.  Layer the sentiment onto purple card stock
9. Pop dot the penguin and sentiment to the front of the card

Gratitude - Pink and Main

Good Morning Pink and Main Friends

 Today I am using the Gratitude stamp set again!  I just love the sentiments.  They are so perfect for the next major holiday Thanksgiving!!  The bright warm colors are my favorite palette to work with.

Design Steps:

1. Start with an white A2 card base cut a slightly smaller piece of yellow chevron DP from the Pink and Main Beach Babe paper pad.  Then cut a piece of 4 x 5 1/4 piece of red card stock and run it through the embossing folder of your choice
2. Cut a white oval using the Pink and Main Stitched Oval Die set and cut a 1 1/2 x 4 inch piece of DP from the the Pink and Main Pumpkin Spice pad.  Then use the Pink and Main Scallop Border die
3. Glue the embossed red card stock on top of the yellow chevron DP.  Next glue down the checked rust scallop border and then glue down the oval.  Add the yellow ribbon and glue to the white card base
4. Stamp the flowers from the Pink and Main Fall Bouquet stamp set and color with copics. The colors are: YR14, 18 - Y35, 38 - R24, 46, 59 - E15, 18
5. Cut out the flowers with the coordinating die set and pop to the stitched oval
6. Stamp the sentiment form the Fall Bouquet stamp set and layer onto the rust checked paper then pop to card

Let it Snow! - Scrapping Cottage

Good Morning Scrapping Cottage Family!

Cottage Cutz has released a number of wonderful stamps sets.  And I decided to work with the Snowglobe Fun set which has a tiny snowglobe and little images to go inside the globe plus some small sentiments.

Design Steps:

1.  Using the Snowglobe Fun set stamp the images with an ink that works great with Copic markers.  I used Memento Tuxedo black.  Color the images with your markers

2.   Use the coordinating dies from the Snowglobe set to cut out the images.  Use the Cross Stitch Circle dies to cut out 2 blue card stock circles.  Stamp the smaller circle with the sentiment
3.  Cut two strips of DP 1 inch and the other 1/2 inch.  Cut a 4 x 5 1/4 piece of designer paper and 4 1/8 x 5 3/8 piece of blue card stock.  Glue the DP to the blue card stock then mount on an A2 white card base.  Add the strips and circles as shown.
4.  Pop up the stamped images onto the larger circle and add the sparkle ribbon

Appreciation - Pink and Main

Good Morning Pink and Main Fans!

I am just loving using the warm colors of fall!  I also love to mix patterns especially using the Pink and Main Pumpkin Spice paper pad.

Design steps:

1. Use a vanilla A2 card base and select 2 pieces of designer paper from the Pink and Main Pumpkin Spice paper pad. Die cut the 2 pieces of designer paper and one piece of vanilla card stock using the Pink and Main Stitched Rounded Rectangle die set.  Glue the three pieces to the card front as shown
2. Stamp the bouquet of flowers using the Pink and Main Fall Bouquets stamp set.  Color with copic markers. Use coordinating dies to cut out the flowers and pop it to the card using dimensionals
3. Use the adorable Pink and Main Small Bow die cut and Rinea foil to make the bow.  Glue dot the bow just below the flowers
4. Use Pink and Main Thanks die and cut out of dark brown card stock.  
5. Stamp in dark brown ink the sentiment from the Pink and Main Thanks to You stamp set and layer onto dark brown.

Santa is Coming - Scrapping Cottage

Hi Scrapping Cottage Friends

Before I get started I wanted to share with you that tomorrow and Saturday we will be having a video blog hop!! Six talented YouTube crafters will be showing off their interpretations of some of the new holiday release dies during the hop.  The sneak peeks are amazing featuring some beautiful projects!  Please check out Janet's post to get all of the details!!

Now on to today's project, I am making my Christmas cards and this one is going to someone very special!  I just love this Santa peeking out the window!

Designer Steps:

 1.  Cut the pieces using the Window With Shutters and Window Christmas Friends dies.  I used red, green, white, brown and white card stock for all of the pieces.

 2.  Color and shade the pieces with Copic markers.  Add small rhinestones for the eyes and the centers of the poinsettias

 3.  Glue all the pieces together and add a small piece of yellow DP behind the window

 4.  Use an A2 white card base and glue a slightly smaller piece of DP with snowflakes on the card base.  Pop dot the window and sentiment to the front of the card
